GATINEAU — New Democrat MP Mathieu Ravignat (Pontiac) marked the 55th anniversary of the Campbell’s Bay-Litchfield fire department, today.
This non-profit organization provides protection against fires, basic medical aid, car evacuation, search and rescue, and emergency response services. It serves an area of over 198 km2 located in the heart of the MRC of Pontiac.
“Not only do they keep us safe, but these people are also involved in the community,” said Ravignat. “For 55 years, the firefighters of Campbell’s Bay-Litchfield have done terrific service for us.”
“I would like to congratulate these motivated and dedicated individuals who live and work to serve our community,” concluded Ravignat. “I thank all the volunteer
firefighters of the brigade, as well as all those who came before them.”
